ROCKY MOUNTAIN READING EDUCATION ASSISTANCE DOGS® (RMR)  R.E.A.D.® TRAINING WORKSHOP

If you are interested in becoming a R.E.A.D.® team with the goal of inspiring young readers, improving literacy skills and making a major impact in the lives of children, then this is for you!

The benefits of becoming a registered R.E.A.D. team member:

• The phenomenal support that is available for everything from answering questions to providing guidance and reading tips
• Being able to use the R.E.A.D. logo and all copyrighted materials
• Receiving a wonderful R.E.A.D. newsletter
• Having access to the R.E.A.D. Email Forum and R.E.A.D. Yahoo Group which has additional information, templates and reading resources
• Most importantly, you will belong to a well supported national organization, with documented successes

We will cover all aspects of the program including some simulations, videos and will answer any questions that may arise from the information presented.  You will be prepared to proceed to the next step which would be to fill out and turn in your paperwork to Intermountain Therapy Animals (ITA). They will then supply you with your R.E.A.D. Registration Number, Registration Card and a R.E.A.D. tag for your Pet Partner’s® vest.  You will begin down an amazing path towards improving literacy and providing a worthwhile service with your pet partner.
